About HBA
Hillsborough Youth Basketball Academy, also known as HBA, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality basketball training to youth in Orange County, North Carolina. We focus on developing leadership, teamwork, and confidence through the game of basketball, with programs designed to foster personal growth and athletic skills.
We are proud to announce that HBA has been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status by the IRS. With this designation, we remain committed to expanding our programs and building partnerships that support our mission to serve the community and empower young athletes.

Youth AAU Basketball Travel Team
Our Mission and Vision
Looking for a competitive and affordable basketball team for your child?
Look no further than our Hillsborough Basketball Academy AAU travel basketball team!
Our team does not solely focus on wins and losses! We put an emphasis on player development individually and within the team dynamics to foster a confident and well rounded young athlete.
Our training drills and practices are designed to challenge players and help them reach their full potential.
The HBA Travel Ball team plays in tournaments throughout the state of North Carolina, from Raleigh to Greensboro, sanctioned events, and scrimmages with other local teams.
For the 2024/2025 November - July Season, we will only have one travel basketball team with 10 roster spots for 9U/10U.
